The game has a very intriguing and immersive story, with plenty of twists and surprises. The characters are well-written and voiced by talented actors, who bring them to life with their emotions and personalities. The game also has a lot of lore and background information, which you can access through the in-game encyclopedia. However, some of the lore is unskippable and can interrupt the flow of the story.

The gameplay of Reverse:1999 is based on cards, which represent the skills and abilities of your characters. You can customize your deck with different cards, and use them strategically in turn-based battles. The game has a lot of depth and complexity, as you have to consider the effects, costs, and cooldowns of each card, as well as the synergy between your characters and the enemies’ weaknesses. The game also gives you a lot of free currency and resources, which you can use to upgrade your characters and cards.

Reverse:1999 is a game that I highly recommend to anyone who loves card games, sci-fi, or mystery. It has a captivating story, a deep gameplay, a beautiful visual and audio design, and a fair gacha system. It is a game that stands out from the crowd, and proves that you don’t need the best 3D models or the freedom of an open world to be a great game.
